On our trip to the Locks, we met Captain Hubert (Huey) Vinneau of Nova Scotia in Grand Marais, MI and sailed as companions for 2 days. We took pictures of each other to trade. We also traded information and we plan on meeting again in August of 2010 as we exit the Saint Lawrence river to the Atlanic, where Huey calls home.
Huey just purchased Rainbow in Houghton county on the Keewenaw Penninsula. He will meet his brother in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and sail her back to Nova Scotia.
